Week 19

Happy Friday! What a wonderful week full of exciting sessions that have touched us and you users. We will be giving a short description of every event to keep you updated, however to get the real experience and all information from our events, it is best to go in and listen whenever you have the time! If you have not already, download the VoiceHER app in the App Store and Google Play so you never miss a session.

May is a time to raise awareness of those living with mental or behavioral health health issues and to help reduce the stigma so many experience. Sara Tiala held a session on Tuesday to hold a space for others to be heard and listened to. Many feel alone and don’t feel like they have anyone to talk to, VoiceHER is always available for you to talk about anything you have on your mind.

On Wednesday VoiceHER had our first live podcast! Sanna Dahlin, Viktoria Elman, and Stephanie Darvill discussed how to win or learn mentality. Stephanie Darvill is the co-founder and COO at Aline, a company that believes that the development of artificial intelligence, voice technology, wearables, and future technologies will provide greater flexibility and accessibility of learning and collaboration. We had another amazing live podcast on Thursday with Nawres Caman which she hosted together with Viktoria Elman and Sanna Dahlin. In the podcast she shared more about herself and her career journey. Nawres is currently working as a head of sales in a startup company in Frankfurt and has several years of experience in sales, leadership, and international business. Another live podcast we had was with Alex Alejandro and Sanna Dahlin on Thursday where these two strong women discussed, talked, and shared about everything related to parenthood, this podcast was for mothers and mothers to be. It was a judgement free zone for amazing mothers to share their wisdom and discuss.

As mentioned earlier, May is mental health awareness month, and VoiceHER wants to spread awareness and amplify voices in ADHD. Many women with ADHD often go undiagnosed. Too many women grow up with being called lazy, selfish, spacey, restless, or dumb because their symptoms were ignored or disregarded. If you are diagnosed with ADHD, think that you might have ADHD, or just have questions about ADHD, there is an open room in the VoiceHER app every Friday at 12pm CET to discuss ADHD. In these events we discuss everything around the diagnosis including relationships, medications, everyday struggles, and so on. It is a big topic and we want to let you know that you are not alone, you are amazing, strong, and very brave.

VoiceHER is so thankful for everyone who has held a session, live podcast, and opened a room, and we are excited for another week full of more exciting events, you don’t want to miss it! If you have not already, don’t forget to download the VoiceHER app and join us, we look forward to seeing you there!
